Rooted in Assam

Haven Tea is a packaging project created for younger, health-conscious men, designed to feel direct, honest, and anchored in its place of origin. The visual identity draws from Assamese culture, using traditional textile patterns as the foundation for the box design. Instead of leaning on decoration or trend, the packaging reflects a heritage of craft and place, grounding the product in authenticity while presenting it in a form that is contemporary and accessible.

Patterns as Storytelling

The central design element is a bold, repeating pattern inspired by Assamese textiles and weaving traditions. Rendered in black and white, it becomes the defining character of the box—an element that both honors cultural identity and introduces a graphic clarity well-suited for modern packaging. The layout gives each side of the box a distinct role, from ingredients to story to product details, ensuring clarity while avoiding visual clutter.

Together, these elements create packaging that does more than hold a product: it becomes a vessel of cultural storytelling, turning patterns, type, and imagery into a system of trust, simplicity, and connection.
